AMENITIES TO ENJOY
Swimming Pool
Our large in-ground 25’ x 60’ swimming pool boasts a 3’ shallow end, 5’ middle section and the 9’ deep end. There are umbrella tables, chairs and lounge chairs for your further relaxation on the large cement deck area surrounding the pool. Attached is a bath house with showers, flush toilets, sinks and dressing rooms.
Pool hours are 11 AM to 8 PM. The pool is open from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend each year.
Children 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult 21 or over while at the bath house, swimming pool and lake. All state pool rules and regulations must be followed. These rules are posted in the bath house and on the pool fence.
Athletic Field & Dog Park
Camp Sequoia offers a large athletic field which includes a Softball/Kickball diamond, Volleyball, Horseshoe & Corn Hole, Basketball court, Ga Ga Ball, miles of trails and an enclosed dog park! Scheduled activities and live entertainment on weekends for adults and children.
Private Fishing Lake
We have a Private 15 Acre Fishing Lake loaded with fish such as Bluegill, Bass, Pike, and Sunfish. There is a small pond that the kids catch frogs and turtles in.
Log Cabin Chapel
Come worship with us! We offer Non-Denominational Scripture based services from May 1 through the last weekend in September on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am
Camp Sites
We have openings for our seasonal camp sites for those that are 50 & over. Overnight camp sites are available for families of any age. All campsites are back-in, 30’x60’ which include a fire ring, water and 30 or 50 amp electrical hook-ups. The sites are nice, grassy and most are very level. Many sites have mature shade trees and some are without trees for those motorhomes that prefer none.
We do not have cement pads or sewer hook-ups, but we do offer a dump station and there is a local company that comes out once a week if you would like to be pumped out.
Activities
At Sequoia, we organize events which we schedule throughout the summer. Some weekends include activities such as Hawaiian Luau, Mexican Fiesta, Pool relay races, and other specialty weekends. Every weekend we offer different activities from Gnome Hunts to Kids’ crafts, Adult crafts, Bingo, Euchre tournaments, horse shoe tournaments and more - check out the big dry erase board on the office deck when you come in! Occasionally we provide local bands, group bon fires, and of course we do a lot of pot lucks too! Everyone participates in organizing, running or participating in different events. Click on “Events” at the top of the web page. Then click on the picture next to the dates you want to see the actual weekend’s schedule. While we only post the specials weekends activity schedules here on the web site, every weekend there are activities planned and posted on the big dry erase board at the front office deck so stop and check out the board so you don’t miss out on anything!
